Community rules

eatlete is a place to train and to support each other. These rules apply wherever you interact with others: profiles, the feed, reactions and chat. By accepting them in the app, you agree to follow them. eatlete has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users: we remove such content and block rule-breakers.

1. Respect others

People here train at every level, with every kind of body and goal. Lift each other up — never put anyone down.

  • No harassment, threats or insults.
  • No hate speech: no attacks based on nationality, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation or disability.
  • If someone blocks you or declines your follow request, accept it. Don't create new accounts to get around a block.

2. No offensive names or photos

Other people see your name, nickname and avatar. Don't use offensive or obscene words or images.

3. No spam or fake accounts

  • Don't send ads or copy-paste messages, and don't fake follows or reactions.
  • Don't pretend to be another person, coach or brand.

4. No comments on other people's bodies or weight

Weight and body shape are personal. Don't judge other people's bodies, don't compare, and don't give unasked-for weight advice — not even “kindly”. That's why your followers see your workouts but never your body weight or calories.

5. How to report and block

  • Report — in the “···” menu on a profile or a workout. Pick a reason and add a comment if needed. The person never finds out who reported them.
  • Block — in the same menu. You won't see each other on eatlete anymore, follows in both directions are removed, and you can't message each other in chat. We don't notify them about the block.
  • Remove follower — in your followers list. Your account is private by default: only people you approve see your workouts.

Reporting and blocking are independent: you can report without blocking, and the other way round.

6. What happens when someone breaks the rules

We review every report within 24 hours. If the rules were broken, we:

  • hide the workout — nobody but its author sees it anymore;
  • ban the person from the community — they disappear from search, feeds and profiles, and can't follow anyone or react anymore;
  • block the account — for serious or repeated violations.

If several different people report the same workout, we hide it from others automatically until a moderator decides. If the reports turn out to be unfounded, the workout becomes visible again.

7. How to appeal a decision

Disagree with a decision? Email gurievcreative@gmail.com with your nickname — we will review the decision and get back to you.
